May 18 - Wellness Wednesday: The Power Of Positive Psychology
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. PT
SHRM Northern California Members and Prospective Members: Join us for our new virtual event series: Wellness Wednesdays!
For this month's Wellness Wednesday, join us and Antonina Musekno, SHRM-CP, Career & Life Coach, and SHRM NorCal Volunteer leader as she shows us how the power of positive psychology can help enhance well-being and flourishing. Created by Professor Martin Seligman, PERMA-V acknowledges the five building blocks to human flourishing:
• Positive emotion
The V for Vitality (Physical Health and Wellness) was added by Emiliya Zhivotovskaya and Louis Alloro, founders of the Flourishing Center and Certified Program in Applied Positive Psychology. In this model, well-being is understood as being more than experiencing positive emotions and feeling happy.
SHRM Northern California's Wellness Wednesday events are free to all SHRM Northern California members, so be sure to take advantage of this networking and learning opportunity!
