Join us for a webinar to learn more about the SHRM Foundation’s HR-Registered Apprenticeship Program (HR RAP). It is the first US Department of Labor recognized national HR apprenticeship program. Powered by SHRM's competency-based certification program, the HR RAP is designed to develop untapped talent and upskill incumbent workers for the HR Specialist role through a "learn and earn" experience. Mary Wright, Manager, Apprenticeship will explain how this on-the-job training paired with classroom learning leads to higher productivity, increased retention and a more diverse workforce.  About the Presenter: Mary V. L. Wright, manager, apprenticeship at the SHRM Foundation, is responsible for implementing the US DOL funded HR Registered Apprenticeship Program, the first national HR apprenticeship program. As such, she is responsible for all parts of the program – development, marketing, sales, budget and evaluation. 

 Ms. Wright has many years of experience connecting the public and private sectors in municipal finance, government affairs, and workforce development as a project leader, facilitator and subject matter expert.

She serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Work & the Economy and chairs the Institute’s Achieving the Promise of Work initiative.

 Ms. Wright received a Master of Business Administration in public/nonprofit management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Affairs from Connecticut College.

Recertification Credit

SHRM Certification has approved this webcast for 1 PDC toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. A program code will be provided at the end of the webcast. The program also meets recertification credit standards set by the HR Certification Institute and other HR certifying bodies, but candidates must manually enter their activity into their records.
